To disable the peer

 

Description: This lab exercise demonstrates the command used to disable the peer. Administratively shutting down a peer is done during maintenance to prevent “flapping”.

Instructions:

1. Configure the devices R1 and R2 and bring the interfaces up.
2. On R1 issue neighbor command to disable the neighbor R2
