Configuring keepalives

Description: By default, physical interfaces configured with Cisco HDLC or PPP encapsulation send keepalive packets at 10-second intervals, use this lab to disable the sending of keepalives and then enable it back on interface so-0/0/0.

Instructions:

1. Enter into configuration mode.

2. Disable the sending of keepalives on so-0/0/0.

3. Enable the sending of keepalives on so-0/0/0 with an interval of 40 seconds, down-count as 30 and up-count as 20 seconds.
