Lab-Simulator Navigation
This section explains the
lab-simulator window in detail. Please note that a mouse-over help is also
available while taking the lab. The simulator window is displayed on selection
of any individual lab by going to: Lab-exercises -> sub-menu ->
individual-lab.
On Selecting an individual lab, the
lab-simulator window to execute the
instructions is as given below:

Functionality of different blocks of the above screen:
1. Show Network:

This Button is used to see the Network Diagram associated with the lab. The
button is grayed out if there is no network diagram associated with the
lab.
The figure below shows the Network Diagram which consists of Devices and Connection associated with the lab.

Use the dropdown box shown in the above screen for selecting a device to configure it.

2. Show Answer:

Click on this button to view the relevant command to execute. The answer
screen is a pop-up window. You can also view the complete set of commands
required for completing the lab. |
2.1 Answer Screen looks like the one shown below:

| As shown in the above figure,
the current command to be typed at the router console corresponding
to the current instruction is listed first. You view the
complete set of commands required for completing the current lab by
clicking on the "Full Answer" button. |
3. FlashCard:
 |
| Flash Cards display help
screen with respect to the instruction being executed. If there is no
help associated with the instruction, the button is grayed out. |
4. Score & Exit:
 |
| Use this button when you
want to exit from the lab. You can exit from the lab at any point, even
without completing the lab! |
4.1 Score and Exit screen: The screen is
self-explanator.

5. Router Console: This is where you enter the commands.

6. Lab Instructions:

The text in this box describes the set of Instructions that have to be
executed in the selected Lab.

Current Instruction:

The text in this box provides the current instruction that needs to be
executed by typing appropriate command(s) at the router console.
